Fred Segal Café X 王老吉's brand-new American-style nightlife-inspired must-photo hand-shaken drinks

Originating from Los Angeles, Fred Segal opened its namesake boutique in 1961, making its first debut with a lifestyle concept featuring designed denim fabrics, characterized by blending the free-spirited, laid-back luxury of Southern California, and is a highly popular fashion lifestyle brand.

Following its flagship location on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, it has expanded in recent years to Japan as well as terminals at Los Angeles International Airport. This autumn, it further extends to Taipei, Taiwan; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Zurich and Bern, Switzerland, taking Fred Segal global.

Currently in soft opening, Fred Segal Taipei has adopted the global Fred Segal concept of mixed-use operations by setting up Fred Segal Café on the first floor, where it has jointly created a new brand of hand-shaken drinks “Wang1828” with 1828 Wang Lao Ji Cool Water Shop.

Located on the bustling Zhongxiao East Road in Taipei as a street-front store, it becomes the area’s first hand-shaken beverage shop that combines tea, coffee, and dessert offerings, featuring 10 indoor seating spots and shared tables, allowing shoppers to take a break, relax the mind with flavors, and bring people closer to their environment—a lifestyle attitude.

“Wang1828,” which combines American trend fashion with Chinese retro classic styles, also specially launches three major drink series, including the “1828 Wang Lao Ji Cool Water Shop Classic Series,” the “Wang1828 Exclusive Series,” and the “Wang1828 Coffee Series.”
