From Japan, “Nourie Chabon” has once again collaborated with the Taiwanese tea brand “Bu'er Hall” to launch a Lunar New Year gift box for the Year of the Pig, which can also be turned into a tissue box.

The contents of this Year of the Pig Lunar New Year gift box include “Nourie Matcha Rice Cookies,” launched with the concept of paying tribute to Taiwanese street snacks with tea aroma. This traditional Taiwanese tea snack is given a new flavor, made with finely processed Taiwanese rice, free from preservatives and artificial colors or flavors. It offers a fragrant rice taste and nutty aroma, with a crispy texture and a lingering tea aftertaste.

There is also the popular Japanese flavor “Nourie Hojicha Rice Cookies.” Hojicha itself has a rich flavor with a sweet aftertaste that refreshes the senses, making it popular among women, and it contains less caffeine than other types of tea, making it gentler on the stomach.

This time, premium Uji hojicha powder is specially selected as the ingredient, with fine powder that is almost stone-ground in quality, paired with Taiwan’s Xiluo Zhuoshui rice, along with Job’s tears, peanuts, and brown rice for added new flavors. The crispy texture combined with a new tea-flavored sensory experience makes every bite delightfully crunchy and tasty!

In addition, the gift box carefully selects tea bags of “Taiwanese Jin Xuan Oolong Tea,” a unique tea tree variety from Taiwan. Developed since the Japanese colonial era, over forty years of meticulous refinement have resulted in this highly popular, delicately milky flavor. The tea liquor reflects the clear, greenish hue of Nantou’s mountain wilderness, exuding a hint of honey-like creaminess and a mild roasted taste, with a lingering fragrance reminiscent of osmanthus, offering an intense flavor like nostalgia. It pairs perfectly with the two types of rice cookies.
