Located in Bali, New Taipei, Guanyin Mountain’s Tough Guy Ridge stands at an elevation of 616 meters, making it the highest peak of Guanyin Mountain and an excellent spot for enjoying and photographing million-dollar-level night views.

The origin of the name “Tough Guy Ridge” comes from when Japanese military police once trained here to build a tough spirit. There is an archway on the ridge, inscribed with the words: “When walking, seek the hardest path; when carrying a load, choose the heaviest burden.”

Tough Guy Ridge lies behind Linkou and Wugu, facing the Tamsui River estuary, offering a panoramic view of the entire Greater Taipei area. But reaching Tough Guy Ridge requires some effort and time—the trail is 1,563 meters long, and a round trip takes about 1.5 hours.
