The evergreen singer Fei Yuqing began his farewell concert tour in 2019. In addition to reuniting with fans in February and May, after multiple efforts and waiting by the organizers, it was finally approved to hold two additional shows on November 6 and 7 at Taipei Arena, with tickets going on sale officially at 12 noon on April 2. The final show will fulfill his wish of drawing a beautiful finale on the stage of his hometown.

This time, all hardware equipment and design teams went all out to prepare at the highest standard. The application for the concert dates and sessions took a long time—from the original May dates, to securing performances during the Lunar New Year holidays, which added festive cheer to the February shows. Later, in November, approval was granted for additional sessions, fulfilling Fei Yuqing’s wish to end his final performance on the stage of his hometown.

During his first Taipei concert, when Fei Yuqing sang his signature song “Goodnight Song,” he became emotional and shed tears. He said, “Tonight feels like a final farewell. I will retire completely. No matter if there are any future calls for me to appear again, I will never come back!” The concert lasted a full three hours, featuring many classic songs along with reflections and emotions about the farewell. He also expressed that his greatest wish was to conclude his final show on the stage of his hometown.
