Asia’s first-ever opening in Taiwan with zero time difference from New York — Michelin-starred chefs flock to Chefs Club Taipei

Taipei cuisine features a rich diversity ranging from street food to Michelin-starred meals, cultivating many food enthusiasts. And now, Chefs Club — originating from New York and known for letting you “earn stars without traveling the world” — has invited globally renowned Michelin-starred chefs for guest appearances. In 2019, it made its first foray into the Asian market, and chose to set up shop right here in Taipei, Taiwan.

On April 2, Chefs Club Taipei opened its doors, with three guest celebrity chefs sharing their culinary philosophies, including France’s Alain Ducasse, America’s Matthew Kirkley, and India’s Gaggan Anand. Among them, Alain Ducasse had visited Taipei several years ago and repeatedly praised the city as a passionate, vibrant, and beautiful place.

Chefs Club debuted in the United States in 2012. Its founder, Stephen De BAETS, brought the concept of pop-up restaurants into the dining business model. Its fresh and buzz-worthy approach has garnered enthusiastic support from countless food lovers around the world.
