1. Ride the Maokong Gondola for Free
Primary school students (and younger) holding the 2019 Children’s Month brochure, digital student ID, regular student ID, or National Health Insurance card can ride the Maokong Gondola unlimited times for free from Thursday, April 4 to Sunday, April 7.
This free experience event for primary school students (and younger) allows unlimited rides on the Maokong Gondola, helping you save money while creating sweet bonding moments with your kids. Accompanying parents still need to purchase tickets to enter the station. Children in primary school (or younger) can either tap their digital student IDs directly at the gondola station gates, or exchange their student ID or NHI card for a “Free Ride Coupon.”
2. Free Welcome Skating Experience at Taipei Arena Ice Rink
From Thursday, April 4 to Friday, April 5, Taipei Arena Ice Rink is offering a “Free Kids’ Skating Ticket” promotion—admission is free.
3. Free Entry for Kids at the New Children’s Amusement Park
From April 4–7, April 13–14, April 20–21, and April 27–28, children in primary school (and younger) can enter for free upon presenting the 2019 Children’s Month brochure, digital student ID, regular student ID, or NHI card. In addition to free entry, one accompanying parent can also enjoy free admission. (Note: rides inside the park are charged separately.)
Taipei City’s mascot “Bear Joy” has teamed up with Taipei Municipal Children’s Amusement Park for the first time. This collaboration features a special makeover of the original camouflaged “Flying Magic Bus” into a bright yellow “Bear Joy Bus”—a new highlight for your trip to the children’s park.
