Tigerair Taiwan announced that following its inaugural flight from Taoyuan to Kalibo (Long Beach) in early April, it is set to launch its third Philippine route on June 7 — a direct flight from Taoyuan to Puerto Princesa (Palawan), offering travelers a new direct flight option.

Puerto Princesa International Airport is located within the city of Puerto Princesa in the Philippines’ Palawan Province, offering convenient transportation and serving as a major hub for international tourists. Palawan has become a dream destination for island getaways in recent years, hailed as the last paradise in the Philippines and even voted one of the best tourist attractions of the year.

In the initial phase, Tigerair Taiwan’s Taoyuan–Puerto Princesa (Palawan) route will operate three flights per week, departing Taoyuan Airport at 13:15 every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, and returning from Puerto Princesa International Airport at 17:05 on the same days.

To celebrate the route launch, Tigerair Taiwan is offering one-way tickets starting from untaxed 399 TWD, available for booking from 10:00 on April 10 to 23:59 on April 11, for travel dates between June 7 and October 18.

Palawan Province is an administrative division under the Mimaropa region of the Philippines, consisting of the main island of Palawan and surrounding smaller islands. With its pristine underwater world and unspoiled natural scenery, Palawan is often dubbed the “Little Maldives” and is also known as the last virgin land of the Philippines.
After the launch of the Taoyuan–Puerto Princesa route, it will become Tigerair Taiwan’s third route to the Philippines and its fourth destination in Southeast Asia, bringing the airline’s total number of destinations to 22 and international routes to 29.
