Marugott HotelThe guest rooms were designed by Tatsuya Tanaka, the “microscopic god” who has appeared on “Jounetsu Tairiku,” Shojiro Ono, the owner of the world’s most famous shiba inu “Shiba Inu MARU,” and the mysterious creator “Pantovisco.” All three are participating in hotel design for the first time.
Known as the “microscopic god,” Tatsuya Tanaka is a miniature photographer and art director. His “MINIATURE CALENDAR,” which presents familiar everyday items through miniature art, has been continuously published online to date, attracting immense attention not only in Japan but also overseas.
Tatsuya Tanaka has been responsible for the title backgrounds of NHK’s morning drama “Hanbun, Aoi” in 2017, the opening film for the Takashimaya S.C. in Nihonbashi, and appeared on “Jounetsu Tairiku” in 2019, with over 1.9 million followers on Instagram. The “MINIATURE LIFE Exhibition: Tatsuya Tanaka’s Whimsical World” is currently being held both domestically and internationally.

Bamboo Room – Themed around Japanese style, the room features scenes of sushi and rice fields, with the bed designed as a tamagoyaki sushi. When you stay here, it feels like you’re in a miniature world.
Shiba Inu MARU, beloved by fans in Japan, is owned by Shojiro Ono, whose Instagram account has over 2.5 million followers. In November 2015, leveraging his influence, he was appointed as the tourism ambassador of Mie Prefecture, becoming the first dog in Japan to serve as a tourism ambassador for a prefecture.
Shiba Inu MARU was selected as one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Animals in April 2016. Due to MARU’s immense influence and popularity, he is hailed both domestically and internationally as a “superstar,” “giant shiba,” “Best?Dog,” and “the world’s most famous shiba inu.”

Bread Room – Themed around bread, the walls and tables are decorated with bread, and you can sleep comfortably on a sandwich bed.
Pantovisco (パントビスコ), a versatile creator who has gained attention for his works posted on Instagram and currently has over 410,000 followers. He runs eight serialized columns in magazines and websites, and over the past three years, he has provided cross-industry collaborations for more than 700 companies, including Mitsukoshi Isetan, KIRIN, Audi, and BEAMS, covering advertising production, TV/event appearances, anime originals, and character creation, expanding his activity across industries and media types.
Pantovisco held large-scale solo exhibitions in Ikebukuro, Nagoya, and Fukuoka in 2018. Representative works include “Disorderly Painting Diary,” “Requiem for a Girl,” and the “Hechitake Series,” among others. With a total of over 6,000 works, he has consistently aimed to express the world of SNS directly as art in the real world.
