7-ELEVEN has teamed up for the first time with celebrity chef Nicholas Tse’s self-created brand “Feng Wei.” The first wave of ready-to-eat products includes a limited release of 600,000 servings of “Feng Wei Cold Noodles” and 500,000 servings of “Feng Wei Seafood Scallop Fried Rice,” now available exclusively at 300 Taipei stores starting today, and officially launching island-wide at 5,400 stores on May 8, offering a variety of taste experiences from sour to sweet, bitter to spicy.

This marks 7-ELEVEN’s first collaboration with chef Nicholas Tse, guided by flavor specialist CHEF NIC, introducing new Feng Wei products.

“Feng Wei Cold Noodles” incorporate locally sourced fresh ingredients such as Pingtung green limes, Yilan Sanxing scallions, shredded eggs from Shian Ranch, millet from Hualien, cucumbers, and carrots. Using a three-layer noodle technique, the surface layer is chewy and smooth, while the inner layers offer bite and the ability to absorb the sauce. Paired with CHEF NIC’s specially prepared three-cup sauce, stir-fried with scallions, ginger, and garlic, along with Hong Kong-style oyster sauce for a sweet umami note, plus lemon juice and stir-fried chili seed oil, the dish is refreshing, appetizing, and satisfying.

The limited 600,000 servings of Feng Wei Cold Noodles are priced at NT$79.

The other new product, “Feng Wei Seafood Scallop Fried Rice,” features premium seafood ingredients with both squid and shrimp as dual main ingredients. The rice also includes Hualien’s superfood “red quinoa,” adding a slightly bitter adult flavor. It is then stir-fried vigorously with a unique Hong Kong-style sauce made from scallop XO sauce, oyster sauce, and braising liquid. A new-style rice stir-fry machine ensures even coating of the rice with the sauce, and the finish carries a hint of spicy broth flavor, offering rich layered taste.

The limited 500,000 servings of Feng Wei Seafood Scallop Fried Rice are priced at NT$89.

As April ushers in the peak season for cold noodles, 7-ELEVEN’s cold noodle sales have already grown nearly 40% compared to the same period last year. With flavor guidance from CHEF NIC and drawing inspiration from classic Hong Kong cuisine, the “Feng Wei” cold noodles and fried rice are now available. In addition to the ready-to-eat meals, there are also limited-edition Feng Wei cookies, and more Feng Wei products—including a Hong Kong-style milk tea blend—are set to launch in May.
