Travel is often an outlet for many people’s lives. They rely on it to escape the daily grind, take a breather, jump into someone else’s life, relax their tense nerves and muscles, or even go on a vacation to an island and completely unwind, thinking of nothing at all; but travel can’t solve all problems. The challenges in life still have to be faced. Let’s confront these nine negative energies that affect our lives head-on!

There are many challenges in life, and we must face them with the right mindset.

1.Constant complaining

When life isn’t going well, some people always have complaints on their lips. Whenever they meet someone, they can’t stop unilaterally venting their unhappiness. This causes their own displeasure to spread to others, like a negative entity throwing trash at everyone they meet without considering whether the other person is willing to listen. Over time, this exhausts and burdens family and friends, who will all want to distance themselves from you, a walking ball of negative energy.

Complaining is like a baseline in human life. Once it goes beyond the limit of what one can bear or tolerate, people start to complain. To avoid letting complaining become a habit, try to raise your own baseline. When facing unpleasant situations, be able to take responsibility, absorb the impact, and even respond positively—that’s the best way to deal with complaining.

Life was never easy; it’s our efforts that make it simpler.

2.Escaping reality

People often say, “Escaping may be shameful, but it’s very useful.” There’s no right or wrong in this statement—it’s all about choice. But you can’t always numb yourself with cigarettes, alcohol, sex, or drugs, thinking that deceiving your body is the same as deceiving yourself. The result of such behavior will only backfire, causing you to fall into the abyss of losing yourself.

People also say, “Being able to face the problem means you’ve already solved half of it.” Feeling sad or down after a setback is a very normal emotion, but how you face the problem and bravely tackle and resolve it is extremely important and necessary.

Being able to face the problem means you’ve already solved half of it.

3.Magnifying the problem

Worrying over nothing is a common problem for many people nowadays. It lets anxiety, worry, and fear take over life. At the slightest sign of something negative or bad—some situation or piece of news—you feel like the sky is falling, that life is hopeless and there’s no way out. In truth, it’s often just you magnifying the problem yourself; the situation isn’t actually that serious.

When facing negative energy, learn to focus on the big picture and let the small things go. As long as the overall principles and direction are not wrong, then the rest are just minor issues—necessary processes, the best arrangements. Problems arise because there’s friction, and friction is a good thing because it shows there’s room to grow. Just handle the issue properly, and you’ll get positive feedback.

Successful people find methods; failures find excuses.

4.Always making excuses

When faced with things they don’t want or like, people love to make excuses—using them to deceive themselves and brush others off. But in the end, it only leaves them stuck in place, unwilling to admit their own failures. With a mindset of “it’s not that I can’t, I just don’t want to,” they tell themselves there’s no problem, it’s all other people’s fault, so they can feel better about themselves for the moment.

Making excuses is a huge obstacle to personal growth. You should take responsibility for your own life, face your mistakes and difficulties honestly, and strive to make changes.

No, there are a hundred excuses; Yes, only one reason is needed.

Criticism won’t make us better people.
