The renowned online booking platform Booking.com has surpassed 3 billion guest stays since 2007, with 750 million of those choosing unique accommodation types such as homestays and apartments, demonstrating global travelers' strong preference for distinctive stays.

The platform also released the "Global Cities Welcoming 10 Million Guests" list, featuring popular cities such as Rome, London, and Dubai. Additionally, it highlighted three of the longest-running "representative unique stays in Taiwan."

Taiwan – Huatai Rui House
It listed its first apartment on the platform as early as 2000, while its first wooden cabin, houseboat, and traditional Moroccan residence were registered and went live in 2005, 2006, and August 2007, respectively.

The UK’s “Lake Town Farm Wooden Cabin” went live in July 2005 and began hosting guests.
Among the longest-running unique stays on the platform are the beautiful French vacation home "Ako Beach Hotel" and the Lake Town Farm Wooden Cabin in the UK. In Taiwan, representative stays such as Huatai Rui House, Artisan Home Loft Cabin, and Ming Shan Humanistic Retreat have also been listed for many years, each with its own distinct character.
