Hermes Special Exhibition Is Back Again！ Limited-Time Pop-Up Store Featuring Scarves & Vinyl Records

The first 90cm-width twill silk scarf from Hermes was created in 1937, when all scarves produced at the silk workshop were square ones designed for female customers. It wasn’t until 1949 that Bobby Breward, the store manager of the Hermes branch in Cannes, proposed the idea of making ties to the company. His aim was to meet customer demand—back then, guests were not allowed into the casino near the store without wearing a tie. Thus, the first tie from Hermes was born.

The design of Hermes ties emphasizes uniqueness, variety, and innovation. The patterns draw inspiration from four major themes: annual themes, horses, maritime elements, and geometric designs. There are over 40 designers involved in creating these patterns. The color schemes of the ties vary according to the complexity of the patterns, with up to 16 color options available for the same design. In addition to ties, other exclusive men’s accessories from Hermes include bow ties, square scarves, pocket squares, diamond scarves, and scarves in a variety of styles.

This April, a fashionable pop-up store that combines music with accessory wear will soon arrive in Taiwan. From Madrid to Dubai, New York to Melbourne, the Hermes Men’s Silk Scarf & Vinyl Record Pop-Up Store will open in Taipei. Inspired by vinyl record stores, Hermes has created a fashion and music art space that integrates browsing, listening, and exploration.

From Saturday, April 27th to Sunday, May 5th, the pop-up store will be open for a limited time at Hall 7B of Huashan 1914 Cultural and Creative Industries Park. During the pop-up period, vinyl lectures will be held, and both domestic and international bands and DJs will perform. Alcoholic beverages will be served at the evening music parties from April 29th to May 3rd, with entry restricted to those aged 18 and above. Photo ID with a portrait is required for admission.
