Bestie outings and gatherings just got a new go-to — the brand-new lifestyle and food brand “Engolili.” Focusing on British-inspired creative design, the café blends European elegance with Asian refinement to create a cozy, comfortable intellectual vibe.

The restaurant offers 30 signature dishes, where the chef’s creativity perfectly fuses classic British cuisine with local Taiwanese ingredients, providing a feast for both the eyes and taste buds. It’s set to officially open on May 1st on the 3rd floor of Eslite Spectrum Nanxi.

The food presentation in-store is exquisitely plated and super photogenic.

Engolili primarily targets women aged 20 to 35. The brand combines England, lilies, and robins to reflect its identity and character. The elegantly blooming lily symbolizes independent modern women, while the robin — known as the British songbird or God’s bird — conveys a sense of graceful freedom.

Engolili has also brought many century-old classic British dishes to Taiwan, including shepherd’s pie and fish and chips, which have been featured on CNN’s World’s 50 Best Foods. This allows consumers in Taiwan to easily enjoy international delicacies.

It also combines fresh local Taiwanese ingredients to create globally inspired flavors. For example, light desserts featuring tangy-sweet “Taiwanese pineapple jam” or rich, smooth “purple yam sauce” paired with fluffy “British scones,” or a specially made “shepherd’s pie” using sweet mashed sweet potato instead of mashed potatoes — all are incredibly impressive. The concept of blending Taiwanese flavors with British-inspired light meals is truly taking root in Taiwan.

The interior is ultra-chic and modern, with every corner perfect for photos.
