Originally a historic old fishing port, Zhengbin Fishing Port has now transformed into a leisure and nostalgic holiday destination. The colorful houses along the harbor add vibrant hues to the simple fishing port, earning it the nickname “Taiwan’s Venice.”

Locally known as the Bat Cave, Nuandong Canyon features shallow streams at the bottom and rugged, spectacular rocks throughout the valley. There are also steep cliffs and caves by the stream, making for a truly majestic sight. Located at the upper source of Dongshi Gully Creek, Nuandong Canyon was formed when the creek cut through a reverse fault sandstone, creating a transverse valley. The winding stream showcases the beautiful micro-landforms of the canyon.

Located on the third floor of the Visitor Center in Heping Island Park, Le Pin Xi Tang is a café that coffee-loving travelers shouldn’t miss. Aside from its breathtaking sea view, the café uses beans roasted by a world-champion barista. It also offers craft draft beer. Sit at the bar, enjoy the dreamy seascape—it’s all so CHILL.

Wangyou Valley is a hidden gem where standing atop and overlooking the green valley helps one forget all worries. Walking along the Badaozhi Seaside Park trail, you can gaze at Keelung Islet across the sea. At night, you can also admire the twinkling fishing lights on the sea and the illuminated mountain city of Jiufen.
