The most popular sandwich loved by K-pop groups makes its third Taiwan pop-up stop here

The “Hit Song Sandwich,” beloved by popular K-pop groups like BTS, SEVENTEEN, and TWICE, is making its flash sale comeback once again. Just after ending its pop-up at Kaohsiung’s Dream Mall in April, the sandwich will now head to Banqiao in New Taipei City for its next pop-up event—northern friends who missed out last time, this is your chance to grab one.

Stuffed with Korean-imported strawberry jam, crab meat and egg salad, and cabbage salad, the sandwich’s sweet-and-salty flavor has been highly recommended by many popular K-pop idols. As a result, it gained fame from Korean TV stations across all of Korea, and even spread to places like Taiwan and Hong Kong. The Hit Song Sandwich contains no preservatives and is made fresh every day, which is why there’s a limited daily supply—you’ll need to line up early to get your hands on one.

The Hit Song Sandwich held its first pop-up in Taipei at Uni-President Department Store in March, where the queue was extraordinarily long. Then in April, it popped up again at Kaohsiung’s Dream Mall, drawing similarly massive crowds. This third pop-up event will run from May 10 to May 15 at the B1 level of Banqiao’s Big City department store—mark your calendar if you missed out last time and get ready to shop early.
