Swedish home furnishing brand IKEA has set up shop in New Taipei City's Xindian District on the 3rd and 4th floors of a mall connected to Xiaobitan MRT Station, creating the largest IKEA store in Taiwan and the sixth overall in the country. The store officially opened on May 16!

The new IKEA Xindian store opened on May 16 and offers extremely convenient MRT access, along with the largest number of indoor parking spaces in Taiwan, making it a great new weekend outing destination.

Covering an area of 6,600 ping, the IKEA Xindian store gives shoppers plenty to explore.
Spanning 6,600 ping, the IKEA Xindian store provides over 700 indoor parking spaces and an online parking space inquiry system. The mall stocks 8,500 different items, ensuring visitors can enjoy a full day of shopping.

The dining area is spacious and bright.
It also features Taiwan’s first IKEA Café in northern Taiwan, open from 7 AM to 9 PM daily, offering a variety of exclusive menu items such as hot-pressed paninis, nitro coffee, and Taiwan’s only in-line flat iron ribeye steak.

The IKEA Xindian store also includes an authentic Nordic-style children’s playroom, Småland Magic Forest, imported directly from Sweden.
The much-anticipated IKEA Swedish Restaurant offers 434 seats and a dedicated family dining area. The entire dining space is bright and spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the scenic views of Xindian and plenty of natural light – making it a perfect spot for afternoon tea as well.
