The “Kaohsiung City Travel Association International Travel Fair” will be held for four consecutive days starting May 24 at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center. Tainan City has specially set up a “Tainan Pavilion” to promote classic small towns such as “Yanshui District” and “Houpi District,” as well as information about spring travel subsidies in Tainan, showcasing the city’s rich and diverse tourism offerings.

The “Yanshui District” and “Houpi District” are scenic areas rich in humanities, history, and culture, and have been selected as part of Taiwan’s 30 Classic Small Towns. Yanshui is home to one of the world’s top three folk festivals—the Yanshui Beehive Rockets—as well as the Moonlit Port Lantern Festival. Houpi District, besides hosting the annual Taiwan International Orchid Show, is also the birthplace of champion rice, attracting many visitors every year.

In conjunction with the Spring Travel Campaign by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Tainan is offering independent travel subsidies, group travel incentives, and the “Art & Travel in Tainan” promotion for May and June. The five exclusive deals for “Art & Travel in Tainan” during May and June include:
1. Enjoy free entry to five attractions on weekdays: Anping Fort, Chihkan Tower, Anping Tree House, Yide Jincheng, and the 1661 Taiwan Ship Park.
2. Present your accommodation receipt from a Tainan hotel during weekdays in May and June at the above five attractions to redeem one heritage-exclusive souvenir (limited to 50,000 items). With a valid Tainan accommodation receipt: amounts under NT$2,000 get one souvenir, NT$2,000–NT$2,999 get two, NT$3,000 or more get three, and so on.

3. Stay for just NT$500 or more on a weekday, then register on the Tainan Theme Day website to enter a draw for round-trip flights to Hong Kong or Osaka. (Every NT$500 spent earns one entry, and the more you spend, the more entries you get.)
