The authentic “Hit Song Sandwich,” which was once only available at South Korea’s SBS TV station, has held pop-ups in three cities—Taipei, Kaohsiung, and New Taipei City—after its first Taiwan launch in March. Now, friends in central Taiwan are also in luck. The pop-up’s fourth stop has finally arrived in Taichung, where only 1,800 freshly made sandwiches are available daily—and it’s said you’ll have to wait at least 2.5 hours just to buy one.

The “Hit Song Sandwich” is filled with mayonnaise and strawberry jam imported from Korea, as well as ingredients like cabbage, boiled eggs, and crab meat salad. Its sweet-and-salty flavor has earned high praise from popular K-pop groups such as BTS, SEVENTEEN, and TWICE, making it a must-try treat for fans.

The sandwiches are made fresh daily, with a limit of 1,800 per day.
The pop-up’s fourth stop is at B2 of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Zhonggang Taichung, running from June 5 to June 9. Only 1,800 sandwiches are available each day, all made fresh and free from preservatives. However, this pop-up coincides with the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, so those planning to go are advised to queue up early to avoid longer waits due to holiday crowds.
