Taitung Taiwan International Hot Air Balloon Festival

The hot air balloon festival in Taitung kicks off grandly on June 29th each year. The “Hot Air Balloon Tethered Flight Experience” is especially popular, often drawing long queues. In addition to on-site ticket purchases, this year the Taitung Fun Card website also offers an online reservation service for tethered balloon rides, with a limited quota of 80 spots per session, available in three booking phases.
Online pre-orders are limited to two tickets per transaction. Entry is via QR code, saving time waiting in line. And Taitung isn’t just about hot air balloons — from June 29th, eight consecutive Saturday night hot air balloon light shows and concerts offer visitors a unique memory-making experience.
