Department store transforms into a late-night bar: Yongxin Phoenix Tea teams up with Cat Downstairs in a collab

Two Taipei restaurants with totally different styles—“Yongxin Phoenix Tea” and “Cat Downstairs Dunbei Club”—have teamed up for a collab event. This collaboration presents the “2019 Summer Vacation Preview Midnight Party,” inviting everyone to party together after business hours at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi’s South Xinyi B3, and enjoy a grand summer late-night bash.

On June 21 (Friday) and June 22 (Saturday) from 9pm to midnight, Yongxin Phoenix Tea and Cat Downstairs will host an ultra-chill midnight party themed around the 1990s. The event will feature an impressive lineup of DJs spinning the hottest disco hits from the '90s. As June 21 also marks International Skateboarding Day, in addition to rocking street-style outfits, you can also bring your skateboard to the party and celebrate the day in style.

And of course, no party is complete without great drinks and food. Cat Downstairs has prepared five specially crafted handmade cocktails, while Yongxin Phoenix Tea has come up with ten evolved versions of their iconic tea-street dishes—both fashionable and perfectly suited for the party vibe. Seats for the party have already been fully booked, but if you don’t mind standing, you’re still welcome to join the fun, dance to the music, and unwind.
