This super dreamy old-house café is located under a flame tree in Hengchun Town. What looks like a dilapidated ruin has been transformed by the owner into a unique glass house filled with a romantic and relaxing atmosphere.

The building was originally the site of a hemp rope factory. The owner preserved its original desolate feel and, in just two and a half months, transformed it into the current Tree Summer Drinks glass house, also creating many stylish pieces of furniture to furnish it.

The long wooden table with eclectic seating has an inexplicably cool vibe.
The shop’s style is quite quirky, ranging from tasteful European flair to American industrial to island casual. Though the styles clash, they somehow fit perfectly together, and every corner seems to have its own unique character—travelers are sure to snap some beautiful photos they’ll love.

The shop also doubles as the owner’s studio.
Aside from enjoying tea, chatting, and delicious food, visitors can also find the owner’s studio here. The owner occasionally holds classes to make leather goods, paintings, and more. Plans are also in place to turn the space into a multifunctional venue in the future.
