The “Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area,” which opened on July 1, 1994, is turning 25 this year. To celebrate Aowanda’s birthday and coincide with students’ summer vacation, the Forest Management Office is offering an ultra-affordable 10-yuan admission fee on June 29, 30, and July 1. Located in a mid-elevation mountainous area, Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area offers different experiences in each season—cherry blossoms in spring, waterfalls in summer, moonlit nights in autumn, and maple leaves in winter, each with its own unique appeal.

Summer in Aowanda is even more lively, with butterflies fluttering, insects chirping, eagles soaring and singing, mountain birds playing, and frogs croaking joyfully. Coupled with the large white trumpet-shaped blooms of Taiwan lilies, which are in full bloom everywhere, swaying gracefully in the wind, the area has a distinctive summer vibe.
