Taipei’s popular summer water activity, the “Taipei Riverside Kids' Festival,” will be held from July 13 to July 21 at Dajia Riverside Park in Taipei. This year, it once again features the “Xiong Zan Water Park,” with five themed zones. In addition to water fun, both kids and adults can enjoy the charming appeal of Xiong Zan.

The nine-day 2019 Taipei Riverside Kids' Festival Xiong Zan Water Park event opened registration on July 4. It features five themed zones including Extreme Surfing, City Exploration, Colorful Fantasy, Xiong Zan Adventure, and Land Playground, allowing children and adults to embark on adventures together this summer.

This event combines water play, cultural performances, fun games, and themed activities. Among them, the newly introduced “Extreme Surfing” is expected to be the most popular attraction. Participants must select whether they want to join when registering online. The first phase of online registration has 25 spots available for this activity, and the second phase offers 15 spots. No on-site registration will be accepted for this attraction.

Water play activities are scheduled for three sessions on weekdays and four sessions on weekends, with 400 spots per session. For the first phase of online registration, which opened at 9 a.m. on July 4, 200 spots per session are available. The second phase of online registration opens at 9 a.m. on July 10, with 100 spots per session, plus 100 spots reserved for on-site registration.

Additionally, please note that children wishing to register for water play activities must be at least 6 years old. On-site activities also include a Lucky Clover Ball Pool, Push Cars, and fun obstacle challenges. There will be 3–4 cultural performances scheduled each afternoon, making it the perfect family-friendly summer outing.
