The Penghu International Fireworks Festival, which is beloved by many tourists every early summer, concluded on June 27. To continue the festive momentum, Penghu County launched the “2019 Penghu Marine Party Carnival,” the highlight of this summer’s tourism scene in Penghu. The carnival features six major themed events: “Daisy Island Water Park,” “Picnic Music Party,” “Bikini Party,” “Island Love Journey,” “Yacht Singles Party,” and “Love in Penghu Bay,” each with its own unique features and highlights.

The first event to kick off is the “Daisy Island Water Park,” which will grandly open on July 3 at Guanyin Pavilion. It will combine water activities such as SUP boards, canoes, and sailing, and create a family-friendly water play area onshore, making it an aquatic park suitable for all ages.

From July 29 to August 12, there will be three sessions of the “Island Love Journey,” designed to offer couples, longtime companions, and lovers a sweet romantic day trip experience. Participants will be taken to Qimei, Qimei, and Wang’an, and in the evening, a fireworks-themed music concert combined with a drone show will be held on the outlying islands, creating a dazzling and unforgettable fireworks summer night for each couple.
 

On August 1, a fresh and stylish “Picnic Music Party” will be held at Shanshui Beach, combined with a planned island-themed market, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the beach music and picnic atmosphere of Penghu. On August 19, a “Bikini Party” will take place at Liuli Beach, open to participants from around the world for bikini girl and beach boy selection contests, with several cheerleading teams invited to perform on-site, fully showcasing Penghu’s vibrant energy.
