The giant KAWS figure is back again — the world’s only KAWS BFF sculpture lands in Taiwan

After just announcing the fourth edition of KAWS:HOLIDAY in Japan, KAWS has now unexpectedly revealed that it will bring a BFF-themed “KAWS BFF SCULPTURE” exhibition to Taiwan — not only is it the only one in the world, but fans can once again take photos with a giant KAWS figure!

Previously, artist KAWS set up a massive 36-meter-tall creation figure, the XX Companion, at Taiwan’s Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, sparking a huge online craze for photos and check-ins. The “KAWS:HOLIDAY” events held in Hong Kong, Seoul, and Taipei also received an overwhelming response, and now the “KAWS BFF SCULPTURE” exhibition will be coming to Taichung, Taiwan.

This exhibition will be held at DALI ART Art Plaza in Taichung’s art district. The fluffy BFF series, paired with the iconic XX-patterned large eyes, will become the newest super trendy photo spot.

In addition, DALI ART Art Plaza will invite artist KAWS himself to attend the site on July 15 to hold the unveiling ceremony for the KAWS BFF SCULPTURE exhibition — fans who love KAWS definitely shouldn’t miss it.
