Tape Art originated from a street art action in Rhode Island, USA in 1989. In just 30 years, it has seen explosive growth in Europe and America, expanding from outdoor streets to indoor spaces, from flat paintings to imaginative, boundless creations. The world's first “Sticky Action #TapeArt” exhibition is now on grand display at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei until September 1st!

Thanks to the inherently “flexible” visual tension created by the tape itself, it blends seamlessly into various urban surfaces such as walls, buildings, and subways. Coupled with the ease of tearing and modifying, it allows artists to fully immerse themselves in the endless possibilities of creative experimentation.

TAPE THAT was formed in 2011, hailing from Berlin’s most vibrant hub of street culture and street art—Kreuzberg. It is made up of trendy male artists with an average age of 30.

They excel at using various types of tape to construct complex structures and irrational orders through line-based visuals. Their themes span a wide range, with creations that include everything from flat to three-dimensional works, as well as large-scale spatial installations, consistently astonishing the public with their vision and imagination.
