Sailor Moon Pop-Up in Taichung: Super Dreamy Scene for Free Photos

The “Sailor Moon Dream World” held in Taipei at the end of 2018 attracted a large number of fans. This year, it will pop up in Taichung from July 18 to August 11, set up in the sky theater on the 10th floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Zhonggang Store in Taichung. In addition to dreamy photo spots, there will be a series of venue activities and Taichung-limited merchandise, ready to spark another wave of enthusiasm.

Although this Sailor Moon Dream World pop-up in Taichung lasts less than a month, it’s packed with sincerity, bringing back the popular photo scenes from the Taipei event—Usagi’s room, the moon, pink flower walls, and more. There’s also a giant 250 cm balloon Luna that’s sure to win over fans’ hearts and camera lenses.

In addition, the Sailor Moon Dream World has teamed up with Haritts, a famous doughnut shop in Taichung, to create the “most dazzling limited-edition doughnuts ever.” Made with natural ingredients and no artificial coloring, the chocolate flavor is sweet to the core. From July 18 to 28, the doughnuts are freshly baked around 2 PM daily and can be redeemed with vouchers purchased at the counter. They’re available in super limited quantities.

Other Taichung-limited special events include: during the first four days of the opening from July 18 to 21, visitors who take photos and check in can get a limited-edition magic wand badge to “punish you in the name of the moon” wherever they go. From the opening day until the event ends on August 11, character-exclusive stamps will appear at different times in the pop-up shop. Customers who spend over NT$900 can also receive one limited-edition character badge per day.
