The popular Japanese Hokkaido thick pancakes “Tsubaki Salon” announced in July that they will officially open at Taipei’s Regent Taipei after their April pop-up in Taiwan, along with two limited-time summer desserts.

Tsubaki Salon is famous for its ultra-fluffy thick pancakes, which are a whopping 3 cm thick. Not only do they have a fluffy and soft appearance, but their rich and tender texture is also astonishing. As the pancake melts on your tongue, it releases a rich aroma, making every bite unforgettable.

Starting July 15, Tsubaki Salon at Taipei Regent will launch two summer-exclusive flavors: cantaloupe from Hokkaido, Japan, and LaLa Mountain peaches from Taiwan. The cantaloupe is air-freighted from Hokkaido, while each dessert uses more than one LaLa Mountain peach, combining juicy fruit flesh with fluffy pancakes for a refreshing summer treat.
