The Meteorological Bureau has issued a thunderstorm warning for nine counties and cities. The public is advised to be cautious of flooding and lightning when going out, while those in mountainous areas should watch out for landslides, falling rocks, and sudden surges in river water levels.

Due to strong afternoon convection, the Meteorological Bureau has issued real-time thunderstorm alerts for nine counties and cities. Thunderstorms will continue until 16:30 in Keelung, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu, Miaoli County, Hsinchu, and Taichung City, and until 17:00 in Taipei City and New Taipei City.
Due to the threat of heavy rainfall to outdoor activities and poor visibility affecting driving safety, low-lying areas are prone to flooding, while mountainous regions may experience landslides, falling rocks, mudflows, and sudden river surges. Everyone is urged to stay vigilant for personal safety when going out.
