The vibrant sea of pink ginger lilies is a limited-time photo opportunity from June to October each year. Their pink bracts, which resemble lotus blossoms, give the flowers their name. In central Taiwan, aside from Taichung’s Waipu and Changhua’s Tianzhong, the red ginger lily fields in Changhua’s Xizhou are especially beloved by travelers. Vast expanses of gorgeous ginger lilies lie hidden along country roads, creating a fairytale-like scenery.
