One year to go until Tokyo 2020: Live show kicks off as travelers plan ahead

The highly anticipated 2020 Tokyo Olympics are now just 365 days away. On July 24, the Olympic Channel will air a “One Year to Go Special Live Show” for the Tokyo Olympics. The first part will begin at 14:30, hosted by two-time world champion and Japanese figure skater Miki Ando. The second part will be broadcast by Olympic Channel presenter Ashlee Tulloch.

The “One Year to Go Special Live Show” will feature special guests, interviews, cultural displays, and fan interactions. Through the #1YearToGo live interaction on social media, viewers can send comments, participate in online polls, and directly ask questions to the interviewees. Starting from July 24, fans can also join the one-year countdown to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics via the “Olympic Rings Glasses” filter on Instagram.
 
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics will take place in Japan from July 24 to August 9, 2020. Over 200 countries and regions, and 10,000 athletes, will compete in 33 sports for 339 gold medals. In addition to traditional Olympic events, this Tokyo Olympics will introduce five new sports: karate, skateboarding, baseball/softball, sport climbing, and surfing.
