A hidden forest gem in Hsinchu’s Guanxi, the Maozhu Discovery Forest is located within a Tayal tribal community. Its vast grounds nurture a diverse and ever-changing natural ecosystem.

Spanning over 400 hectares and sitting at an altitude of approximately 1,749 meters, the Maozhu Discovery Forest boasts rich natural resources and scenery comparable to that of Alishan, Xitou, and Shanlinxi.

It’s also a popular filming site for movies and idol dramas. It gained overnight fame ten years ago after the idol drama “Green Forest, My Home” led to the construction of the Green Forest Elementary School.
