4.Jioming Lake
 
Jioming Lake is located in the remote Haiduan Township of Taitung, about seven kilometers in a straight line from Xiangyang Mountain along the Southern Cross-Island Highway, at an elevation of 3,310 meters. It is the largest alpine lake along the main ridge of the southern Central Mountain Range. Its oval-shaped shoreline has earned it the nickname “Egg Pond,” but its striking blue waters, like a gem fallen from the heavens, have given it the romantic name “Angel’s Tears.”
