1. Taipei　Guandu Flower Sea
The “Stunning Guandu – Flowers Bloom on New Land 2017 Guandu Flower Sea Festival” kicked off at the end of August. As autumn approaches, the light pink, white, and purple angelica flower seas display a romantic autumn hue across the land. Whether you’re on the flat walking area or heading to the flower sea photo-taking platform, you can clearly see a vast expanse of brightly colored angelica flowers dancing in the wind. The event is expected to run until the end of November.

2. Taipei　Dajia Riverside Park
The Taipei City Water Department has used angelica flowers, small zinnias, celosias, and globe amaranths—summer annuals—to create vibrant, rhythmic color bands next to the main flower sea area of the Universiade in Dajia Riverside Park, competing in beauty with the nearby main flower sea. In total, there are 100,000 potted plants covering an area of 3,000 square meters. The best viewing period is from now until mid-October. Flower enthusiasts shouldn’t miss it.

3. Chiayi　Sweet Flag Grass Flower Sea
Next to the Niuchoaixi Bridge in Chiayi, the snow-white sweet flag grass flower sea forms a romantic white carpet. Sweet flag grass mainly grows on riverbed gravel. When it comes to the most beautiful riverbeds, you can’t miss the sweet flag grass flower sea by the Niuchoaixi Bridge in Chiayi. Though not a popular tourist spot, it’s a hidden gem known to photography enthusiasts. Standing by the riverbed, the swaying flower spikes become even more romantic, and the scenes captured under different lighting each have their own unique beauty.

4. Taitung　Chishang
Though not a flower sea, now is the perfect time to admire the golden rice waves in Taitung’s Chishang area！ Against the boundless blue sky and sunlight, the golden rice waves shimmer in the fields, swaying in the wind like layers of golden waves. Cycling through them, the leisurely and peaceful atmosphere is sure to help you relax—a truly wonderful experience in Taitung.
