Chiayi County, Chiayi City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, Taitung County, Hualien County, Kinmen County, Taichung City, Changhua County, and Tainan City.

These seven counties and cities includeKeelung, Taipei, New Taipei, Yilan County, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County and City, and both Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je and New Taipei Mayor Hou Yu-ih have stated that they will follow regulations and hold a Level 1 Disaster Prevention and Rescue Work Meeting at 7 PM on August 8. After confirming data and receiving briefings from all parties, an announcement will be made by 10 PM at the latest.

The areas where work and school were suspended on August 7 were in Taoyuan City’s Fuxing District, with work and school suspended starting at 3:30 PM. Starting from the evening of August 8, winds and rain are expected to intensify across the region. When going out, please pay attention to safety, be cautious of landslide-prone mountainous areas, and exercise extra caution regarding flights, public transportation, and even elevator use—confirm conditions and stay alert.
