Due to the warm winter, Tetrastigma flowers, which usually bloom in February and March, have quietly blossomed. Clusters of purple-flowered trees create an unforgettable sight. In addition to the Liuliyi Tea Garden in Zhongliao, Nantou, the “Nanping Mountain Dao Tian Organic Farm” on Nanping Mountain Road in Puli, Nantou has also bloomed with beautiful Tetrastigma flower corridors.

Unlike wisteria, Tetrastigma flowers do not hang in long cascades. However, when in full bloom, they create a stunning “purple explosion,” with their rich and vibrant purple hues radiating a unique allure. Additionally, Tetrastigma is homophonous with “wish-granting vine” (许愿藤), carrying wishes and blessings. The floral display is expected to last until after the Lunar New Year, making it perfect for a spring flower-viewing trip.

This Nanping Mountain Dao Tian Organic Farm, located on a small slope next to the Guanyin No. 3 Tunnel along Provincial Highway 14 in Nantou, not only features Tetrastigma but also plants such as bougainvillea, royal poinciana, and firecracker vine, adding even more color to the environment. The pink and blue-purple blooms complement each other, creating a mesmerizing scene.
