Every year, the much-loved Pingri Life Market will be held this year on August 17th and 18th at Dawan Grassland. It will not only bring together 50 vendors selling a variety of quality goods, handmade items, agricultural products, and more, but also host music performances, lectures, and DIY experience activities—making for a lively event.

The Pingri Life Market has been running for three years, showcasing a range of handmade cultural creations, small agricultural products, and light meals from the Hengchun Peninsula—all aimed at transforming visitors’ perception of Kenting as just beaches and sunshine. The event also features live music performances by groups such as African Drumming, the Manzhou Folk Song Association, the Xinxin Peony Cultural Art Troupe, and street artists, making it both fun and engaging.

The market hosts up to 50 vendors selling artisan-selected goods, each with its own distinctive charm.
The Hengchun Peninsula, with its natural environment and ecology, has attracted many young people to move in and put down roots, bringing plenty of creativity and ingenuity. The market is filled with fun and unique cultural and creative shops, reflecting the artistic spirit and lifestyle attitude of the Hengchun Peninsula’s artisans.
Many young people have come to Pingtung to start businesses and settle down.
Not only that, but free lectures and hands-on workshops are also offered before and after the event, including ocean-themed children's picture book talks by Little Bunny Book Nest, yoga sessions, coral printing DIYs, and seed pendant DIYs. These limited-time experiences enrich every visitor who comes to explore, travel, and discover great finds.
In addition to selling small goods, the market also offers light meals and drinks, performances, and DIY classes.
