The Xinshe Rice Terraces are located around the 43.5K mark on Provincial Highway 11 and are the largest forest-sea rice terraces in Taiwan. Usually covered in lush green rice fields, they transform into vast stretches of light golden paddies in the summer. As you drive by, the ocean-side farmland presents an endless, undulating beauty of rice waves, set against the stunning blue of the Pacific Ocean. The coastline, where sky meets sea, looks as if it’s covered with a golden blanket, making even passersby stop to admire the view.

2.Liukeng Slope Cableway
 
The Liukeng Slope Cableway in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, was once a key facility used to transport minerals and supplies in the Jinguashi mining area. With the decline of mining, it has gradually been forgotten and turned into ruins. The cableway has a steep 45-degree slope, offering a breathtaking visual experience along with a view of the Yin-Yang Sea. It’s perfect for capturing images full of historical grit and visual impact—no wonder it’s become a popular spot for photos lately.

3.Jiufen Mountain Town

Diamond Avenue is located in Dongguang Tribe, Changbin Township, Taitung County, around the 85K mark on Provincial Highway 11. It’s a beautiful coastal village nestled between mountains and the sea, preserving pristine natural fields. Lush terraced rice paddies stretch out as far as the eye can see, layered beautifully at the foot of Diamond Mountain and along the Pacific coast. The rice fields sway gently in the sea breeze, their golden stalks creating rippling waves that echo the sound of the surf. The boundless, majestic scenery rivals that of Balong Boulevard.
