KOBITOS Theme Restaurant Closes Down – All Merchandise at 40% Off

KOBITOS Theme Restaurant has closed both its Taipei branches — “KOBITOS Secret Room” and “KOBITOS Secret Garden Café & Light Meals.” Its Taichung flagship store, “KOBITOS Forest Shabu-Shabu,” will also close on August 31 this year, alongside a KOBITOS clearance sale where all in-store merchandise will be 40% off.

Opened in early 2017, KOBITOS Forest Shabu-Shabu once sparked a wave of long queues, attracting a huge number of Toshitama fans for a pilgrimage. Its adorable and whimsical style was hugely popular, as were its merchandise items. Now that its third branch is also closing, many fans feel regret and reluctance.

KOBITOS Forest Shabu-Shabu is filled with Toshitama from the outside to the inside, with a forest as its main theme. The interior features tree-inspired designs, and characters from the KOBITOS story populate every corner, resembling little sprites hopping about in the forest — absolutely charming.

Whether it’s the seating or the meals, everything is exquisitely delicious, with floral decorations in every corner. The space is decorated with wood grain and green tones, making it bright and spacious — a very comfortable dining environment. The in-store merchandise, such as plush toys, clothing, and Toshitama tableware sets, are must-have collectibles for fans.
