The 2019 Land Art Festival is stationed in Taoyuan’s Bade District, with the “Bao-I Corps Former Barracks Old Campsite,” now transformed into a forest park after years of disuse, as its core exhibition area, extending outward to surrounding urban green spaces and pond ecological zones.

Land Art Piece: The Barracks Turn Green Forest.
The 2019 Land Art Festival adopts the concept of “Guarding the Present, Advancing into the Future,” integrating natural parks and pond ecosystems, as well as the proactive character of former military and police camps that served both defensive and strategic purposes, with the theme of imagining and creating new landscapes.
