The 13-year-old spicy hotpot brand Mantanghong Ren’ai flagship store closed on August 28, following other long-established food brands that have been in business for over a decade, such as Tianxing Hong Kong-style dim sum.

The Mantanghong Ren’ai flagship store was located at the intersection of Xinyi Road and Anhe Road in Taipei, a prime area for food businesses. However, in recent years the Dongcheng shopping district in Taipei has seen a decline, and with the lease expiring, the Mantanghong Ren’ai flagship store decided to close, announcing the news on its official fan page.

The closure was due to the decline of the Dongcheng shopping district and the lease expiration.
Mantanghong also operates branches in Taipei, Taoyuan, and Taichung, among others, specializing in premium American beef, fresh seafood, and all-you-can-eat dining with table-side ordering. They offer six types of broths to choose from, making it a must-visit spot for hotpot enthusiasts. The closure of the Ren’ai flagship store has left many loyal customers disappointed.

Even after the Ren’ai store closes, Mantanghong still has other branches open where fans can enjoy high-quality beef.
