Yangguang National Forest Recreation Area is equipped with a visitor service center and five forest trails: the Yangguang Trail, Xiangsong Trail, Songjing Trail, Songtao Trail, and Songyang Trail; there is also a cypress forest boardwalk. The wildlife habitats within the park are well preserved, offering opportunities to spot rarely seen Mikado pheasants and Swinhoe's pheasants.

Jiaming Lake, nestled in the remote Haiduan Township of Taitung, lies seven kilometers in a straight line from Xiangyang Mountain along the South Cross-Island Highway at an altitude of 3,310 meters. It is the largest alpine lake on the main ridge of the southern Central Mountain Range. The lake has an oval-shaped shoreline, which has led some to call it the “Egg Lake.” However, Jiaming Lake’s azure waters, like a gem fallen from the heavens, have earned it the romantic name “Angel’s Tear.”

The Tianlong Suspension Bridge is a must-visit attraction in the Tianlong Bridge Scenic Area. Spanning 110 meters, the swaying bridge offers an exhilarating experience. Here, you can admire the spectacular canyon scenery on both sides, breathe in the rich forest phytoncides, and enjoy the view of the dark red patterns on the bridge walls formed by the misty Luhu Hot Springs gushing from the mountainside, creating a stunning natural mural.
