The well-known American retail giant Costco is holding its “Black Friday Shopping Festival” this year from November 25 to December 1. Unlike the previous limited three-day event, this year’s version has been extended to seven days, becoming the “longest Black Friday Shopping Festival in the world,” aiming to let consumers shop to their heart’s content.

Due to the overwhelming crowds and traffic congestion around the store during the “Black Friday Shopping Festivals” of the past two years, this year’s extension is mainly intended to disperse the crowds and provide a more comfortable shopping environment for consumers.

However, some consumers feel that the discounts are “just okay,” while PX Mart’s “Black Goods” promotion — offering the second item at half price — has actually attracted more buyers. For example, soy sauce is also classified as a black good. This promotion runs from November 29 to December 1.
