Covering an area of approximately 5.9 hectares, Yuli Wetlands is rich in ecological resources. It utilizes two ecological ponds to filter, absorb, decompose, and purify wastewater before discharging it into the Xiuguluan River. After years of ecological cycles, the ponds have developed a highly diverse ecosystem, attracting migratory ducks and other birds that fly from Siberia to Taiwan for the winter. It's a perfect spot for group trips and family outings.

Located in Hualien, the Danongdafu Plain Forest Park is the country’s first flatland forest. Spanning 1,250 hectares—equivalent to 48 Da’an Forest Parks—it acts as a super carbon-absorbing and oxygen-producing machine. With its vast plantation coverage, it has been hailed by the Forestry Bureau as “a green jewel in the East Rift Valley.”

Once a hidden gem left undeveloped for 20 years, Jili Pond has been revitalized by the township office and the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau. With well-maintained lawns, stone masonry, Moon Reflection Arch Bridge, and Penglai Island, it has shed its former mystique and become a popular new leisure spot in Hualien.

The newly built “Qinzhibuzi Skywalk” in Fengbin Township, Hualien, stretches 170 meters along the cliffside. The walkway is supported by transparent reinforced glass beneath your feet, offering breathtaking views of rugged cliffs on one side and the vast Pacific Ocean on the other—as well as a thrilling sense of walking above a deep abyss.
