Located in Xianxi Township, Changhua County, there is an abandoned military camp — the Clam Military Camp — which consists of 11 sites, all over 50 years old. The buildings have a unique exterior, rich in military character and nostalgic charm.

The stone monument inscribed with “Do Not Forget Zhu Lu” and made from clam shells, along with the bunker at the entrance, has been turned into an art village and a coastal ecological recreation area. It’s also a popular outdoor photo spot widely shared online, attracting many influencers to take photos here.

The Clam Military Camp is a structure left behind by the former coastal defense troops stationed in Xianxi. The camp has 11 buildings, all over 50 years old, and their weathered walls offer a uniquely special atmosphere.
