Spend a night at IKEA！ Experience a better life at the IKEA Pop-up hotel

IKEA is truly a creator of surprises and a promoter of a better life. IKEA has launched the IKEA Pop-up hotel, a pop-up accommodation experience located on Minsheng East Road. This time, we were very lucky to stay in the “family room” room type.

The IKEA Pop-up hotel has partnered with Taipei’s Youmei Hotel. Upon entering the lobby, you’re greeted by the familiar yellow-and-blue Swedish color scheme. The IKEA reception desk is located on the right side of the lobby, along with a small reception lounge area that feels warm and homely.

Before check-in, you can also choose a pillow that suits you, selecting based on individual sleeping habits. Since I usually sleep on my side, I picked the PRAKTVÄDD ergonomic pillow. After one night’s sleep, it’s proven that a good pillow really does improve your rest.

The “family room” room type is suitable for two adults and one child, featuring a double bed and an extendable children’s bed, complete with a canopy. The child is already a big fan of IKEA, and seeing this room made them absolutely ecstatic！

Surprisingly, this room is the only one among all room types that has a cypress wood oven in the bathroom. The oven emits a faint scent of cypress, which is quite unique. After putting the child to sleep, taking a shower and relaxing in the oven felt just like being on vacation.
