According to booking platform Agoda’s data survey, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Taipei have made it into the top three Spring Festival travel destinations for Asian travelers this year. Tokyo has beaten Bangkok to become the top choice for celebrating the Lunar New Year holiday, while Taipei has made the top three for the first time, proving its tourism appeal is growing year by year.

This year, Taiwan’s travel popularity continues to rise. Among Asia’s top ten Spring Festival travel destinations, Taipei (3rd), Taichung (4th), Kaohsiung (6th), and Tainan (9th) all made the list, with Seoul (7th) and Chiang Mai (10th) also being popular among Asian travelers.

Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand, known for their cuisine and cultural experiences, were selected as the top three most favored countries among Asian travelers.
