The new brand under the “Mitai Group,” “Chef Chuan’s Kung Fu Noodles,” offers a new option for Sichuan-style noodles. Its first department store location has officially opened on the 5F of Breeze Nan Shan Mall, invited by Breeze Group. This is the Mitai Group’s third major brand in Breeze Nan Shan, its eighth store in the Xinyi commercial district, and the group’s 100th directly operated store. It plans to expand to 150 directly operated stores by 2020!

Chef Chuan’s Kung Fu Noodles went through countless rounds of R&D—from selecting the noodle base to fine-tuning the sauce ratios—to bring you the most memorable taste, reminiscent of your father rolling up his sleeves to make noodles by hand. The handmade Kung Fu noodles are chewy and springy, and after numerous trials and tastings, paired with a secret recipe Kung Fu chili oil made from dozens of ingredients, they deliver a richly spicy and numbing flavor that’s addictive from the first bite.

The “Spicy Soup Base” was mastered by the chefs during a trip to Sichuan to learn the secret recipe. It’s simmered for ten hours using over twenty types of Chinese medicinal herbs and authentic Sichuan chili peppers, resulting in a flavor that’s spicy-numbing yet not harsh, with a long-lasting kick that’s truly exceptional.

The “Old-Fire Soup Base” is made by slow-simmering a base of old hen and dozens of fruits and vegetables for a long time, resulting in a rich, mellow texture and sweet, fresh broth that best highlights the original flavors of the ingredients. Each dish is carefully prepared and plated by Chef Chuan, presented to perfection. The decor features an elegant, classic traditional style, complemented by exquisitely Chinese-style lanterns, transporting you back to the Republican era. The dining atmosphere is excellent, making the meal not just about tasting delicious food, but also an elevated sensory experience.
