This “Hello Kitty Multi-Purpose Storage Basket” features the classic Hello Kitty design and can be used as a handbag, car accessory, or desktop decoration. Its capacity is just right for holding McDonald’s fries and a drink, making it a practical item favored by fans. The sales period runs from 11:00 AM on January 20 to February 18 (or until sold out).

McDonald’s Taiwan previously released the Melody storage basket, which sold out quickly in Japan, and this time the Hello Kitty basket is expected to be even more popular.

To get the Hello Kitty storage basket, customers can purchase any McDonald’s meal and pay an additional NT$269, or buy it separately for NT$319, to receive one “Hello Kitty Multi-Purpose Storage Basket.” It is not available via 24-hour Happy Delivery, Drive-Thru, McCafé exclusive counters, digital self-order kiosks, snack stations, or at some restaurants.

This limited edition Hello Kitty storage basket is available in a total of nearly 100,000 units across Taiwan. Only one basket can be added per meal set, and each customer is limited to purchasing a maximum of two baskets per transaction, while supplies last. Eligible meal sets include Value Breakfast, Good Morning Set, Value Meal, McDonald’s Share Box, and Happy Meal.
