This picturesque mountain of cherry blossoms has become an incredibly popular photo spot. Located in Sanxia, New Taipei City, the Daxiong Cherry Blossom Forest features a hillside planted with over 30,000 cherry trees. The entire mountainside is covered in layers of pink blossoms, creating a dreamlike scene that rivals Japan’s most famous cherry blossom spots.

As the woodland is privately owned, it is operated by the landowner and opened to visitors. The entrance fee is NT$100 per person, attracting numerous tourists who come to admire the view and take beautiful photos.

Situated on a hillside at an altitude of 500 meters, the Daxiong Cherry Blossom Forest is meticulously cultivated by the landowner with several varieties of cherry blossoms, including Somei Yoshino, Yoshino cherry, and Kawazu cherry. It is currently at its best viewing period, with blooms lasting until March.

The Daxiong Cherry Blossom Forest does not have a large parking area, so visitors arriving later may need to find their own parking space. Currently, the tricolor cold cherry blossoms are in full bloom, followed closely by the Somei Yoshino, making it a perfect spot for a Spring Festival outing.
